Im interviewing with capital one. What is the current rto for engineers who work there? Im seeing 2x a week but some say 3? The website says 2-3 times a week? #capitalone
2.5 in theory, currently everything points to 2 a week bein enough.
Technically 1 a week has been the minimum to avoid the email
I don’t know if it’s different in different orgs but I was doing 1 day a week and after not getting the first email, I got the next 2. After getting the first one, I even went in twice a week on a few occasions. So it seems it’s definitely more than once.
They don’t want to tell you how many pieces of flair to wear. They want you to express yourself.

You have to do 2.5 between Tuesday and Thursday, but PTO is not counted so in effect you have to go 3 days a week to create a buffer for when you are OOO
The current system checks that you have swiped in at least 13 days (Tue-Thu) in the last 13 weeks. This is based on a requirement of 2.5 days a week in the office, but then allowing for PTO and other things. If you come in 2-3 times/week, taking a few weeks off won’t trigger the alarm. If you come once a week, if you miss a week, the HR alarm will go off. The latest email warns that there may be real consequences to not meeting the minimum requirements. None of us know how that will play out yet.
