Capital One or Workday
I am hoping to get some thoughts on work culture and work life balance. I have a product manager offer from both workday and capital one, which one is better if the pay is exactly the same. My research online shows workday culture isn’t great (politics and stress) but I maybe wrong

They still hiring? Wow
they actually had a layoff recently of their auto loans department from what I’ve heard. So I guess it’s similar to the current strategy at Meta and Twitter of mass hiring and firing at the same time. they’ve had prior layoffs over the years of: 1) their entire satellite office in seattle 2) everyone holding the title “tech fellow”, which was the IC role analogous to VP and yet they’ve re-introduced that role for some reason but re-branded it “executive distinguished engineer” (lol)
Layoff was extremely small compared to big tech. Not same scale at all. Yes, we're still hiring.
