How big are the balls of Google to lay off thousands and then do 70 BILLION in stock buyback?
Few weeks ago I had a car accident where the other driver was at fault (got rear-ended at high speed by a crazy driver, police report reflects this). I contacted and hired a car accident lawyer the same week thinking I can get some more money. However, as time goes by, the communication has been from poor to almost none, he didn't respond in 2 weeks, even after 3 follow-ups, all these weeks the only update I am having is that 'he is waiting on the other driver's insurance to accept liability since I don't have pip or premium just basic coverage". I am just tired, I feel now I have 2 problems instead of one. Can I just file a claim with the other driver's insurance directly and bypass my lawyer ? I just don't want to have a third problem with the lawyer if I take care myself of the problem. I'm tired of waiting on my lawyer , I just want to close this chapter and move on , for now I am just accumulating chiropractor bills (I don't have major injuries just back pain and concussion)
You only have 2 problems as you decided you wanted a payout but never mentioned anything about an injury, just opportunity
Read the contract you signed with the attorney. Mostly there’s a severance fee for bypassing them after hiring them
Same thing happened with me back in March and still waiting for my payout. It’s a slow process…
