I graduated college in 2017 and have been working at a start up in the independant Motion picture and Entertainment space. I am trying to transition as I am no longer thrilled about the direction the industry is heading in. I have had great interviews with agencies (Havas, Huge, Publicis, 360i, McgB)... a few even flew me out... but nothing has lead to a role due to lack of (digital agency) experience. Most recruiters and interviewers have told me the skills are transferable but no offers yet. How should I be positioning myself for an agency job in either - production/project management/integrated production - I would even consider a creative or copywriting role. I have a bachelors degree and 4 years of solid Motion Picture experience. Currently pursuing the PMP but months away! Atlanta area and don’t want to reloc unless it’s for a great bonus.
You will need to get someone from the inside to recommend you. Can you find a college alum within any of those companies?

Do you need to do digital? Many agencies (digital ones as well) do film work or mixed media stuff and it might be a easier way in.
