Career Switch QA to SDE

I’ve been working as an automation engineer for a little of 3 years and I really want to switch over to a sde/full stack dev role but I feel like I’m lacking a lot of skills. Skills: java (proficient), selenium, devops, jenkins, junit, maven, mongodb, soapui Can anyone guide me on what skills I should work on and how to get a sde job? thanks!

You are good to go! Just leetcode and crack the sde interviews 🤟🏻

Much appreciation! Being a woman in IT can be intimidating at times 🙂

Why? Lot of women are in tech and doing great. Are you in US?

I have done a similar move so you should be fine. I am a guy though

I've done a similar move. Feel free to dm me if you have specific questions. Leetcode definitely helps. How many years of with experience do you have? Depending on that, you can expect design interview (or not)

I have 3 years of experience in my current role and 2 years as an intern. I’ve done mostly QA/automation work specifically for testing. Now I want to get in pure development (hopefully for full stack). I’ve interviewed with a couple of companies but I feel they want someone more experienced in those fields.

I’m definitely going to practice some leetcode problems. But anything else I should focus on?
