So I am not in tech industry and I am looking to make career change. Currently I am Sales engineer for construction industry and I feel like Construction as industry does not pay well enough. I am willing to put in work and get into the tech industry but just don't know what I should do in tech. I was thinking about learning cloud platform and going into sales for cloud platform. Is the this something which still has future or should look into other tech. Looking to stay in sales side of business. TOC:100K+Bonus Yoe: 9yrs
I'd start by properly spelling advice
Thanks about it. Did not notice it.
It’s UK US thing. Advice and advise both mean the same thing.
Try to understand SAAS. This will help you pick up any product and features associated with it. All you have to do is understand products and use your sales experience. Also try to take 101 of SWE and/or 101 of any sw language. You can target sales, solutions or marketing jobs in tech world. Good luck.👍

Yes sales in tech pays very well. All you need to know is how the software works and be able to sell. Focus on the B2B businesses
