Modi is a legend, will be remembered for centuries to come
Currently in tech job. I want to quit and start a business. Wondering that if the business doesn't do very well and I have to come back to tech job, this career gap of 2-3 years be a problem? What do you think?
If you don’t quit to start business, years later you’ll wonder “only if….”
This. But also dont quit to start, start before you quit and once stable enough then quit
Buttforce gets it
This is really common for people with tech jobs. I bet it's a plus for some hiring managers too - no guarantee that you'd be hired at a level up but you'll at least be able to get a corporate job again.
I took a year break to do what you did and ended up getting an upleveled position even though the business failed
But overall it may have ended up setting my career back. I was on a strong trajectory before I quit. There’s always risk
What type of business was it, just cause you failed once does not mean you will always fail at business.
Depends on how selective. On average no doesn’t matter
