Hey folks I've worked at Cisco in the past, now working in a medical company as director of engineering in the Midwest and looking to move to Seattle. Will it be possible for me to land an interview at any of the big tech companies for a manager role? I've about 16 years of experience.
SDM yes, Sr SDM depends.

I think my LinkedIn profile needs a revamp to get better noticed. I'm researching on blind to find the best way to get that going. Ty folks.
If you get a referral, you could interview at any of them I imagine. Getting hired as a manager at msft isn't as common as some of the other places I would guess, but it's not unheard of. All of the companies, as far as I know, will ask you technical questions in the interview. Design for sure and you may get some coding questions as well. Keep that in mind.
OK...ty... I've been hands-on all along except my current gig...and finding that I like the handson aspect better...
