In general, which one is better for climbing the corporate latter? Which ones have higher ceiling, ie getting to the director/vp level? - GAF (Facebook, Apple, Google), don’t really care about others. - Public recently IPO with strong brand (Airbnb, Netflix) - Unicorn (Stripe, Databricks, Robinhood)
You know Netflix IPO’d like 20 years ago?
I’m actually 5000 years old- 20 years is nothing puny mortal
Anyway, young companies provide more risk and more opportunity. Growing organizations create the chance for growth for the people within them. By the time you’re GAF size, there’s not much room for growth.
