Carta rejection
The first rejection after interview started after layoff I got my take home reviewed by my friends amazon principal engineers. Feedback is good Got rejection from carta today. Feel sad because i thought i am good fit.. Btw, it is a huge waste of time to spend hours to do it without any feedback. If my backgound not matched, i will not take the project... #carta

I got farther than you, but then they asked me to upload my proof of vaccination… for a fully remote role. HUGE waste of time.
Why didn’t you upload religious exemption? Lol also you should shame them publicly for requiring jab proof for a remote role

I interviewed with Carta a year ago and they gave me a ton of feedback on my take-home during the later stages of the interview process (including a PR review session on my code during the onsite). I appreciated that they actually used the take-home throughout the loop and was overall really impressed with them based on that experience

Yeah their coding test sucks. Thats why ai didn’t interview. I got it reviewed from faang engineers but no they aren’t happy. Wasted a sunday
Never going to standup in defense for my employer but since I’ve done some interviews I can say that most of times we have been sending feedback to the candidate. There were cases where it didn’t happen and when it was flagged we could (me included, did it in the past) then alert the recruiting team about it Sorry to hear that. I know how frustrating it can be
It sucks, but it happens. There’s a lot of qualified candidates on the market, my impression is that companies are being extra picky about who they hire
