Had the pair programming interview and leadsership interviews today. Pair programming : The interviewer told what I should implement step by step without me asking. I did each step , verified if it’s working. Had some confusion about his logic for the last step but figured it out and it was working. We were able to finish the problem and he said I did well and most people didn’t complete this far. I feel that I didn’t use proper variables, or indent properly, could have done more to write better code . What does square evaluate in pair programming ? Do they more weightage to clean code ? 2. Leadership: was about a scenario. How did deliver a complex project, how did mentor someone , how did implement better process , how did I convince the other teams or team members to use my process. how square evaluate leadership interview? I couldn’t really read the interview’s expression during this session and they didn’t give any feedback like pair programming interview . After the interview, I feel that I could added more points to strengthen my story. If anyone of you from square or who interviewed can answer, it would be great Also, how long should I wait to know the results

This was for the principal level. I haven’t given any interviews for principal level before. So, it’s hard for me to assses my performance

Sure. There’s will be an virtual on-site. Don’t have the details yet. I am still waiting for feedback. I am little bit unsure about the leadership round. Fingers crossed My PP was a puzzle, don’t think it was a lc problem. But, my interviewer was sweet. He told me to implement one step at a time. Whatever he told, I converted into code
