Imagine a certified ID with WFH creds available in both digital and standard wallet size issued by credited participating companies. Widely recognized nationally and Internationally. Application Requirements: 1. Must submit proof of job performance with exceptional and demonstrated achievements for at least a period of 6 - 12 months. 2. Must get manager and HR approval from current employer. 3. Renew every year with manager need to review job performance. Advantages: 1. Allowed to WFH as long as certificate is valid. 2. Weeds out the slackers, while the slackers RTO and help flourish and fund our cities again. 3. Star performers shine at what they do best. 4. See less people slacking during the day.

Questions: why not do this for all employees? What evidence supports WFH slacking more than in office workers? Whar evidence supports job performance metrics correlated to WFH (as opposed to, jerk manager or failed project or some other variable)

How do you define "slacking" ? If I complete my work faster than others because of skills/expertis, Am I slacking ? Just Guage the performance based on on output...and fire slackers.
Unnecessary processes hinder velocity. If remote ICs aren't delivering, just introduce a seperate PIP quota for remote ICs, and if they all perform well, keep all of them instead.

Don't do that. Unnecessarily verbose code is a bad thing.
In the US, some people need to work from home due to their disabilities and get ADA accommodations to do so. Sounds like more HR admin is created and employees with disabilities could lodge discrimination complaints against their employer if they aren't receiving job accommodations.
