Chances to transition from Contract to FTE at Apple Maps
Hello, i have a Comcast offer in hand. Not remote. I have also attended Apple Maps SRE, looks like i did good there, will know today. What are the chances of becoming FTE with apple maps from Contract ( 6 months) ? Apple: 60 per hour, 6 months contract. Comcast: 119k, 8% quarterly bonus, all benefits. Current CTC:( but layed off) Exp:8 yrs Tc: 130 Base, 15% yearly bonus, 25k RSU What would you recommend please guys #Apple #comcast

Yes, go with comcast. Down the lane you can interview again for FAANG. Based on current macro conditions I really doubt contract to FTE conversion.

Now is not the time to hope for contractor conversions
Don’t pin your hopes in Apple, just because it’s a FAANG company. Stick with FT opportunities, take Comcast.
