Cleared all interviews at Chase (Plano TX) and am waiting for an offer. But the process is painfully slow. Feels worse than haggling at a car dealership. The recruiter keeps asking for one thing or another, first I should tell Chase what they should pay me, then more rsu related information, they are scrutinizing my rsu more than what I ever have. I have a Justworks offer of 250k base 35k bonus and 500k/4 rsu (Remote) I want to wait for the Chase offer as it is an established bank, but I am frustrated by their haggling on salary. Chase has told the offer would be 370-400. Yoe 19 TC 570 (530 at current stock price) in New York
What position did you interview for? I am surprised to see that chase has salaries like this. I thought they offer usually in 200-300K range for VP roles
Interviewed for an executive director
whats happening here ?? your current TC higher even if you account state tax. Why leave FAANG brand unless on pip ?
Not on pip (but that risk is always there at Amazon). I want to move to Texas to be closer to family.
I see, I don't know what justworks does, but being completely remote in a tech company would be better :) Would suggest to ask to match amazon after considering state tax reduction (like 10% off on current TC), and see what happens
How many interview rounds did you have and what were those about?
Can you please share EM interview rounds in Justworks

Is it good choice to buy cyber truck now ?
The offer you have is remote and within the band of what the chase said they would pay and they're not remote. Both are a substantial pay cut. What are you looking for exactly?
If op wants to coast nowhere better than chase. And people rarely get fired.
I don't want to coast, I want to move to Texas which is what Chase or Justworks is providing. I do not mind taking a small hit in the salary if I get to move to Texas.
