ChatGPT is actually making Google obsolete in many cases.
Google may have its use case. But ChatGPT like tech is actually more than generating text. Search text: "it's it mandatory to buy parts from framework laptop". Edit: Bard produced similar result as ChatGPT.
Chatgpt is so convenient at looking up language specific syntaxes. Google is only for YouTube and Maps for me now. Other stuffs can be found on Reddit.

I reflexively googled something about NestJS yesterday and regardless of clicking “did you mean” and telling it to go away, all of the results were still coming back for Next. Google search has been doing me dirty for a while now.

Try out Google labs. They already have llm responses on search. I don't see why ppl will go to chatgpt if they find both responses in one place.

Bings integration with chatgpt is very poor and works only in edge, which means no one uses it

Exactly..am I supposed just trust the random BS that dumbgpt spits out and if I have to click through links to validate its shit then why the hell would I want to add an extra hoop and read unrelated articles… I tried it many times from as simple as best restaurant near me to some kafka related design question and everytime it spits out a nicely packaged diarrhea…fing hate this shit…. Majority of the people raging about chatgpt themselves dont use that shit but blind at times is such fing eco chamber…
I’ve found it useful for learning new things, it’s seemingly really good at getting you in the ballpark. That being said, I use GPT4 exclusively; GPT3 is not that helpful.
Google search with Gen AI provides the same answer as ChatGPT but within search. Looks like you haven't signed up for it yet.

Was not aware of this. Thanks for educating. However blind narrative?? That's shallow mindset TBH. I simply used what I have been using all this while. Even mentioned that Bard gives same result. Some people just can't handle different opinion.
I use ChatGPT/bing for everything now. I rarely fallback to google.
Of course you need to use Bing as a Microsoftie. If you arent dogfooding your product, who will?
Recently I gave Bing a chance because Google was doing a terrible job at answering my questions. It obviously pushes its users to go on YouTube for answers and hardly tries on regular search results. Bing was just as bad at answering my question, but lacked the YouTube push
