Chewy is interviewing aggressively in Seattle for many roles! When will this office open? What is the headcount expected here? TC~185K #chewy
The office location will be decided in a year. Chewy is hiring first and then deciding where to put office based on where ppl live. I believe the goal is 100 ppl in first year.
Interesting strategy, hire people and then lease the office. We'll see how that works.
I heard they are targeting 300 total in 2 years in Seattle
Had a phone screen yesterday, anyone know how long after they usually let you know if you're going to the next round?
I thought they ask only behavioral questions, not situational. What else did they ask you?
Well perhaps non-tech is different? I was asked questions about issues with vendors and how I handled them, also a specific example of what I've done to earn a vendors trust. Have the final round coming up, a "virtual onsite." Pretty excited for it.
Thanks! How many people have you spoken to thus far? How many are you speaking to at the virtual onsite?
OP how’d it go?
Final interview was 5 people. 4 interviews of behavioral and then another meeting with the hiring manager. I did not get the offer.
Thanks for update. You might have dodged a bullet based on blind reviews.
Can’t believe you did all that without an offer. Do you think they’re kind of fishing for insights doing these interviews asking about trend and subscriptions?
They are opening an office in Bellevue
Not true gav. Chewy is starting with one office but has discussed one downtown.
Work wise it’s a amazon copy cat. So you won’t find it too different (they even ripped off LPs from amazon) But curious how the pay is.
The website and software is a ripoff as well.
