Christmas Holiday parties at your place of work
What is your company doing for holiday celebrations? If any.
Shutdown, that's it. The landlords are having a 1 hour snack party for the whole bldg.
For the holidays we don't do shit. Our team is very "corporate".
Over last two weeks we had an org-wide X-mas lunch @ nice restaurant, a potluck and a team lunch @ slightly less nice restaurant. No fun activities this year though (did Escape Rooms last year - it was a blast).
Department party last Wednesday, free lunch at local bar followed by drinks and afternoon off...then company wide holiday party on Friday where the company brings in people who out medical devices have changed their lives, everyone get teary eyed and then we get an early start on weekend...then we shut down from the 21st to the 2nd.
Sounds good. Is Medtronic TC good? Is it a lot of red tape dealing with the FDA, insurance companies and corporate sales targets? Medical device development sounds so gratifying but looks so bureaucratic. Do you enjoy it or think about breaking away?
We had two parties - office party for the .org with food and games in the cafeteria and then a lunch and ice skating party for a bigger group afterwards
