Asians - what are your thoughts on asian female white male ?
Asking for a friend coming from a non-tech company. Remote role, non-Bay Area location (Zone 2). Do these numbers look in line for a G12 senior engineering manager role? $220k base 25% bonus $180k/4 RSU Signing bonus TBD TC: $320k recurring Looking at levels.fyi, the base looks competitive but there looks to be room in the RSU component. Any negotiating tips other than bringing/showing competing offers (in progress)? My TC: ~$400k #engineering #software #offer #negotiation
Yoe ?
20+
That’s great base even for Bay Area… doesn’t sound right
Thanks for the context. How does the RSU figure look to you?
Much more in line with non bay as expected
Usually Cisco do not pay this much that too outside BA So better take it. Enjoy cool life.
Final negotiated offer (accepted by my friend): $235k base 25% bonus $200k/4 RSU No signing bonus (hard to get approval, apparently) TC: ~$344k recurring
G12 bonus is 25% ? is it not 18%?
This offer was made and accepted before the new bonus structure change. My friend’s base is now ~250k and bonus is indeed 18%
which state this offer is for ?
Hi, Can you please share what was the interview process like? Thanks
I really enjoyed working at Cisco and those numbers look good to me for non Bay area.
Yep, my friend is excited about the team and opportunity. Thanks for your input! Do you happen to know the rough TC difference between zones?
I sadly do not. I have friends at Cisco still but I myself was based in Canada so the lowest paid zone. My friend is G11 and has a 180K base I think and that's for Canada. So maybe see if you can go higher.
