In india, we have 2 months NP. I want to get my final annual bonus before I leave Cisco. I am planning to put paper on 2nd June so that my last day will be 2nd or 3rd August and it will also be the start of Q1. My question is since I have served the company till the end of Q4, what would be applicable choice from below options? TC 43 LPA, YOE 12
If you leave August 2, you would get the bonus but not as a part of your final settlement. It would be paid still at the same time as everyone else in India (October), but like those above I wouldn’t put my notice in until later in August once it’s finalized as the bonus is subjective, your manager could still choose to withhold if you give notice prior to planning taking place. You don’t have to wait until it’s paid, just until planning is completed.
