Oh Cisco is notorious for nepotism in hiring. They don’t hire normally. You need to know someone to get hired. Typically a dad/mom will hire their son or daughter either as an intern or full time. I know like a dozen such cases. I know a person who was hired as a VP just over a simple lunch call. No interviews :) because they knew the hiring manager.
