Cisco Layoff - What orgs gets impacted?
I cannot get into the internal Cisco space on Blind Could someone share some info to me?
We only care about MAANG + Twitter layoff

My friend, the word “We” represents Blind. As sad as it sounds thats the current trend.
Any idea , how does leadership identify who to layoff ?

it’s honestly different from place to place. some leader tap middle manages whom they trust to help them determine effectively who is on the chopping block, but that runs the risk of said middle manager sounding the alarms and peacing out to the next place. others (maybe risk averse, or maybe they haven’t been able to build strong enough bonds with any managers) make the decisions from on high by analyzing Jira, or even just based on their intuition.
Security is impacted.

It won’t be formally announced who specifically is impacted until Dec 12th, iirc. WebEx is likely gonna get gutted.
