I think I've been given a G10 offer, is 150k reasonable? There are no stock options is that normal for this level?
150k is just the base, right? 15% bonus on top of it. No on-hire RSUs are usually granted but exceptions are made under certain circumstances. Requires SVP approval AFAIK.
Is the bay area really 50% more expensive than Austin? That doesn't sound like a very fun existence. No wonder Cali refugees are flooding our state.
This is base right. Any joining bonus ??
Ask if options r available. Cisco is hot. Solid career path if ur good. Folks getting promoted at very high rates.
bad
Cisco is a bad place for growth . Avoid it
You’ve been lowballed. This is low even for Cisco standards
This is Cisco standard
G10 not Bay Area, 165k + 50k RSU + 15% yearly so, no, not good for Bay IMO. But also not a SWE either.
