They just did. Why again ?
Cisco allocated 150M dollars past quarter for layoffs (aka severance). They ALSO allocated another 150M for next quarter for the same thing. So yes, old news. But there will be layoffs again soon from Cisco. 2001 economic downturn is happening again folks, look how Coronavirus is affecting economy now. Restaurant workers aren’t making any money, they can’t pay their bills. $hit’s gonna get realz.

Well. It’s fear based on what your company officially stated. So make what you will about it.
This will be immorally to do layoffs in Coronavirus days.. literally no-one will be able to find a job.
Morals are for humans not for companies ;)

Yeah old news. But it’s more likely now to extend beyond the next Q unless the macro environment improves.
