Have they started ? Every body is working hard and super good hard as if there is nothing to worry about. In EN BU are they happening ?
I work at Cisco Bangalore. And I can say that none of this is true. We're expected to work till late and attend US time zone meetings. Signing off at 1 or 2 am is normal. There is a huge pressure, even for managers to make commits and push code. There is regional, state-level favouritism, like any other company. Nobody speaks Hindi. In fact, speaking Hindi is looked down upon. It's either English or a state language.
I'm sure Cisco SF is better.
Agreed in SF, the Bangalore teams do so much work
Managers have not addressed it yet. No company or dept wide emails.
Layoffs have started. I got my notice today. If anyone has any roles for data analytics, please DM me. It's a hard time. Good luck everyone.

Cisco never stopped laying off since 2000. Once outsourcing starts, a company officially enters the neverending cycle of restructuring as they try to cut costs instead of innovate.
