Hi fam, My wife got internship offer from Cisco and Honeywell while she is pursuing her MBA currently in first year. Cisco Role - Product Manager Intern - Enterprise Network group TC- 8K joining bonus, $60/hr (12 weeks) Honeywell Role - Strategic Planning Manager Intern- Commercial Leadership Programme TC - Housing covered for 12 weeks, $54/hr YOE - 6 years. Looking for help deciding which offer to go with. She is really interested to try for recruiting for consulting profile in 2nd year, if not then pursue her career path in tech as PM role. Although Honeywell role offered is also really good and requires working directly with VP Strategy. Which option to choose? Any pros/cons. Thanks #pm #product #productmanager #consulting
Stay away from Honeywell. They’re toxic.
The enterprise networking team is good and is thriving from what I have heard
Stay away from Honeywell. Company is going the same direction as GE. Failing company.
As an ex manager at Honeywell who worked across all the business and multiple locations I could not stress enough to avoid them like the plague. Within the last 5 years the decline has been extraordinary and devastating. Their industry reputation is in tatters and for very good reason. It is a no brainer, go Cisco.

Cleared Amazon onsite, but lowballed.
Easy decision. She should go with Cisco. Cisco will open doors. I interned at Cisco as a product manager intern, and after my internship I got interviews with all the Faangs.
Thanks :) appreciate your feedback
