Hi Blinders, I have an offer discussion with a recruiter at Citrix. I already have an offer from another org for a similar role with TC: 126.4 (Base + RSU/Vesting Schedule) + 27k Sign-On + 10k Reloc. It is also situated in a location with living expenses comparable to that of North Carolina/Florida I expect the TC at Citrix to be: 111k Base + 44/3 + 10k Sign-on. (Info based on reliable data points with the same level of experience). I would really appreciate some insights from the insiders on any potential room for negotiation and how far I can push without crossing the line for affordability. Thanks in Advance #software #swe #citrix #negotiation
Are you joining as SWE 1 ?
Not Sure, But AFAIK SWE II is usually offered to Master's Students at Citrix.
Looks good to me for a new grad 😅
The culture is good , but work is not cutting edge
Yeah, it’s good in its tier and for the location. Since I have a comparable offer, thought of pumping it up a bit.
That’s excellent for new grads
This is for SWE II. Can I DM you about some specific details related to Team etc ?
That's typically considered to be at the high end for SWE II so it may be hard to negotiate bigger bumps ($120k+ is what I hear is the beginning of the bracket for senior engineers)
