Each time I see an ads I don’t like - I’ll click on it cause I hate it so much and I know it costs 10-50 cents for my click. Just like the Verizon recruiting ads I’ve been seeing in this app lately. Will you do the same?
How does it cost them?
Adds are either charged by impressions - how many people it is shown to, or by clicks that open up their page. If it's the latter, and op clicks, they pay.
Is that effort worth the cost they pay? Looks like you’re not valuing your time and effort.
I know what you mean, I see it as a "unnecessarily burn $5 from this company?" I reserve my spite for high value keywords.

1. You thought you could make a dent, no you don’t, you can go broke before they can see the dent you made 2. You have to see more irrelevant ads and either spend more time to click or be annoyed to the max Either you live with it or use adblock.
Nobody cares, most good companies stop showing it to you if there aren't conversions. They employ top ML PhDs; can see through things that are this predictable
