Hi Blinders! I had a phone screen for this role - I’m hoping you guys can fill me in on what level this is inside Cognizant - Also, any insight into comp would be greatly appreciated. They seem to move quickly, and they seem to be a flatter organization for a consulting firm. Thank you!#consulting #businessdevelopment
This could be at Associate Director / Director level. Need more details to know specific level
Cognizant pays varies highly on the location... I have seen senior associates getting about 130-140k base in phoenix kinda cities. They Pay little more if it's California. If you are looking at director level role, am sure it's more than that 140k mark. If you mention the location, it would be easy to guess.
Compensation would easily be around $180k including bonus. Need to know if it is manager or Director level role
180k? Don’t misguide OP?

Hi - I wanted to update everyone. I had a quick call with someone on the team. It seems they mostly have operations in India, and they want to expand their practice and compete with the other firms for projects. It was tough to understand the guy on the webex with his accent, so I wasn’t 100percent clear. My impression is business development / sales is not their forte. To compete with Deloitte etc, I think they have a long way to go. Getting a great team is a start, and it makes it a white space in a way. Thoughts? Also, if leader is Manager, why are they reaching out to someone like me. Not sure.
Must be Director or Sr. Director role. Base $240k + Target bonus You should also be getting good amnt of stocks.
But be prepared to deal with the BD support teams / delivrery leads and other forms of bureaucracy it comes with. You may have early morning / late night calls too.
