There are loads of data for US cities’ salary ranges on sites like Levels.fyi but not as much for Europe such as London. If you would benchmark any US city/region as the closest one to London for tech companies which one would you use? (NY, SF, WA, etc!?) Need this for a potential offer in London! TC:190, 7yoe

For tech? 🤨 You're looking at the wrong set of cities. You got to compare with LCOL places. Maybe some place in Alabama.
LCOL? As per cost of living, probably London to Europe is NYC/SF to the US. I just don’t know if those cities are good benchmarks for tech salaries or not!
Definitely wasn't saying London is cheap. I'm just saying the salaries you find in London aren't even going to compare with what you see in the tech hubs you listed as examples. You're probably going to have to look at the LCOL places to get comparable salaries
