Closing out Robinhood account
Any of you having trouble seeing the cost of your stocks missing after moving them out of Robinhood ? they charge $75 for this bs #tech So incompetent... #robinhood
Recently did this. The only thing missing from your balance should be the fractional shares being converted to cash and then subtract 75 for the fee. Also, call the new broker to reimburse the fee once the transfer completes.
Sometimes it just takes a while. I did RH-> Schwab a while back and it took 2-3 weeks after the shares landed for the cost basis info to arrive
I just closed everything and opened a Schwab acct. Fuck RH
The best is when people call out how terrible this company is and then some employee shows up on Blind to be like no our platform isn’t shit you have no idea what you’re talking about 😡😭😡😭

Said something along those lines before and some employee was like “most of our users aren’t broke, I can see the data you can’t.” I said, “can you also see your competitor’s data to compare your average user’s account balance against theirs?” No reply. Haha
Cost basis transfer didn't work for mem I had to manually update in the new brokerage. Did not realize these scumbags took 75 bucks. Good riddance to the shitty robinhood
