Coinbase Teams
Joining CB soon in backend. Wanted to know what the teams for Institutional / Investment and Exchanges are like. Whats your experience been like in either? What interests you the most? WLB? Tech Stack? TC: 197 YOE: <1 #swe #coinbase
Personal Observation: Exchange and Retail are hard. Ecosystem is hard (there may be exceptions). The rest is acceptable. *Still consider Ecosystem if you would like to excel in crypto although the oncalls are brutal for swe.
I'm starting next month. Is the layoff talk on blind overblown (I should probably just delete this app)? I suppose what I'm asking is do you believe certain teams would have more job security in a recession?.. or it doesn't matter and choose the teams that interest you the most.
