This has nothing to do with SF, but sadly we get dragged through the headlines. The company is remote trash with no HQ anymore and should be treated as such. But when they went remote, it definitely indicated to me their internal projections weren’t bullish. Their hiring needs were minuscule, and it turns out they didn’t even need the people they sent offers to. It’s sad because we need more unicorns to flourish and grow into the next generation’s Apple, Google, Meta. But chasing the rear end of crypto and NFTs to Miami isn’t getting the job done, clearly.
