Coinbase team poll
Hey guys, which team should I try to get on at coinbase. I’m starting soon as IC4 backend engineer. TC: 250K YOE: 4 #tech #coinbase

I heard crypto was good, but these are the only options I was given Do you know if any of these teams have better wlb/good culture?

Those who say infrastructure, what are the main things to work on there I’m not really into devops if that’s what it is, I like more application/product dev Are the projects mostly dev ops?
No, there’s platform and distributed systems work too. Eventually we will grow and keep creating new teams. Lots of room for growth in infra.
When you say backend would that mean you write lot of microservices in Java ? If not what else do you code and design to be industry labelled as 'back end Engineer'
Language doesn’t matter it’s mainly building backend of whatever product/system like the api layer, database interactions etc At coinbase they use golang apparently
