Hi, I am a crypto noob, don't trade actively and have only made two transactions in coinbase in the last couple years since the account was open. I transferred cash from my bank into the Coinbase pro account and used it to purchase Bitcoin on Coinbase last year. I am trying to understand the numbers and balances in my Coinbase account. How can I check the exact USD spent to purchase the assets last year? Looks like I should have an additional $700 in cash which has vanished. I had put in $1200 in the account and only used a part of it to buy the BTC. I can see the BTC qty in the transaction history but not how much USD I spent. If I look at my current balance, it shows I made a net investment of ~$500 which has a lifetime growth of 1.5X. If I only made a net investment of $500 and had transferred $1200, where did the remaining $700 cash go? Are there any hidden fees? Any input is appreciated. Tc ~$500k #personalfinance #investments
Coinbase pro was deprecated and is now retail advanced trading. Simple and Advanced are in the same app now.
Yes, I noticed that. How can I check how much cash was in the account after I had purchased the assets last year? Looks like I only used a fraction of the cash and now the remaining balance has vanished.
I’m in the same boat. I bought some near coins and they are in transaction but missing from total portfolio
Was this a recent thing? My account seems to be missing this cash for over an year now. Not sure if they have some sort of hidden fees or if it has really vanished.
Well I had a call with Coinbase and somehow the transaction was not showing under orders and had to download but was able to verified that I sold coins
tc and yoe yeah, they suck at their reporting services. also they're retiring Pro and moving the records to non-Pro and I'm totally expecting the logs to get lost here
Yeah, not sure why they can't just clarify the transactions and reflect the USD amount transacted. Also it would help to have a way to see the total balance in the account at any selected point in time
