So a colleague of mine who is a contract worker was told to take SAP certification and training to work on an SAP project. The weird thing is they asked him to pay for it himself. Was around 150$ for the training and 150$ for the exam. Is this fair?
If they asked him to front the money and then get reimbursed later it might be okay-ish. If they’re not reimbursing him at all it’s a scam.
No reimbursement
Then that’s bullshit and if you can contest that injustice you should. It’s not about the money, it’s about the time investment that is not being recognised.
Contract workers are treated so unfairly in industry. Apart from having almost no benefits they usually get all the shit work and are overworked, and the pay is usually less than full time work
Is just training enough to work on a SAP project?
It's official SAP certification. If you get certified yes it's enough
“Contract worker”
