I saw some apartments in Amsterdam on funda.nl that are on average 1.5K.
They are very selective when they rent. They select locals first. For most of those rentals they simply never even gonna reply to your messages. Some would invite and simply reject you. At the end you will be left with few options with a lot of expat competitors where you have to outbid them to get the flat.
