How do you commute? What amount of time do you spend in this commute everyday? I am looking for viable options for this commute. I know 'viable' might be subjective term but just want suggestions from the commuters.
Just take a tech bus. Most companies have them running routes all over the bay.
Tfw the company you work for doesn’t offer a tech bus, but the one a couple blocks away does ):
When I used to commute between SF and MTV, I used a mix of car/bike, Caltrain and Muni. It was brutal.
Yes, I am staring google maps and thinking how troublesome it will be. Can't think of changing 3-4 vehicles to go to work.
Consider getting an electric scooter, more compact than a bike and are easier to take on Trains
Salesforce has a shuttle from San Mateo, Uber has free rides. Pinterest is very close to Caltrain station 🚉 otherwise the commute wouldn’t work. Also, Pinterest gives you Lyft credits for rides to and from sf stops
Pinterest also has a CalTrain sticker for free rides
Damn.. That's great..
I walk and BART and walk from Daly City. I hope to start bicycle in soon
If you both live and work within a mile of Caltrain stations, and there is a limited or bullet Caltrain which goes to both of your stops, and you have a temperament that allows you to relax or work on a crowded train, it can be alright. Otherwise I don’t recommend it.
