BREAKING: Internal sources confirm another round of layoffs just hit emails at Tesla. For real.
Most of E5 offer shows 300k range But E6 seems total comp in the 500k range. Why such big gap? So E5 to E6 is a big comp jump?
I've seen senior E5 offers go as high as 420k on total comp (if they have counter offers from Google and one of Uber or Airbnb). Typically I heard E5 offers anywhere between 280 to 350k range. For E6, I heard the offers range from 400k to 550k (depending on counter offers or depending on how much they are already making in their current jobs) Also, thanks to the stock market, many T5 or T6 at Google (or principal Engineers at Microsoft or Amazon) who have been most likely at their companies for 5+ years (at atleast level 5 or 6) have done extremely well with their total comp. So this certainly worked towards them.
With the stock price appreciation the last three years, their total comp is more like 700k a year if they held to the stock
Seen this posted on Blind before: E3: $107k-$125k salary, $40k stocks a year, 10% bonus E4: $140k-160k salary, $70k stocks a year, 10% bonus E5: $170k-$195k salary, $120k stocks a year, 15% bonus E6: $200k-$220k salary, $200k stocks a year, 20% bonus All numbers assuming expected performance, if you kill expectations you get more (25% - 200% more shares)
Nice
Is this just for swe? How does fb see tech and non tech roles? Eg at Google non tech 6 gets paid like a tech 5
E6. 200k, 250k stock, 20% bonus, + negotiated sign on
Iām curious, what was your negotiated sign on?
250k stock per year?
E5 is more like 350-400
