Companies ignore candidates if applied through website?

Applied to about 10 companies using company's online application for software engineer role, none of those have response .. no rejection nor follow up . I can only get interviews when a recruiter reached out to me or with referral. Does company ignore people who applied using company's application website nowadays? backend engineer, with 7 YOE, 200K TC

Yes. Find the recruiter or manager on LinkedIn.

Yes mostly. Surprisingly recruiter from G reached out after finding my resume after I had applied on their careers page.

Depends on your current company and your resume. I got interviews at all the companies I applied for (online application). Get your resume reviewed.

Yes, do both for better chances. In my case, when I applied for opportunities that were a really great match I did get interviews

I think it is really about if resume passed the filter. I have been just applying through online application and I got contact from recruiter for about 40% of my application.

What does it mean ‘40% of your application’?

If you apply online you need all the right keywords. Otherwise good luck ever having a person see your resume.
