good list, tough market out there.
Bank of America is not hiring at all ..
yeah this list isn’t accurate
Recruiters at the diversity hiring event this week say otherwise. RedHat recruiters also attended two diversity career fairs and DeveloperWeek’s career fair in San Francisco. Sound like neither you know what you’re talking about.
Yeah definitely don’t share those. I shared these because I’ve actively spoken with recruiters and hiring managers the last three weeks from all of them, but I’ve already accepted an offer.
Also good luck on your interview
Any companies you would recommend?
BAE Systems seems really cool; the recruiter and hiring manager were very responsive and moving fast. Booz Allen and Navy Federal have also been really great to work with in the hiring process. Booz Allen knows I have an offer but the recruiter managed to line up 5 different teams for me to interview with still; plus they have a ton of new contracts.
I only get promoted FAANG-y roles on LinkedIn so I’m having a hard time finding other companies 😄Thank you; will check them out! 😊
Ripple is!
Does ripple do remote?
Capital One is not actively hiring either. We've frozen our mid-level positions in terms of hiring. No Staff, Principal, or senior at any other company would come here anyway. We're heavily investing in the newgrad programs.
there are companies like Comcast that pays their Principals 170k TC. Whereas C1 would pay them 250-300k
Yes because of the sheer size of their technology division, that is the case. But given the reputation C1 has for their tech, between roadblocks being consistent, sub-optimal location, and now RTO, very few worth their salt would consider us. Also, C1 Principal engineer is equivalent to other company's senior. Our payband for senior is ~150 - 200 or so for non-SF/NYC locations. Ive not heard of higher.
TIAA is, but no remote
Adobe isn't hiring. Source is a friend who's a hiring manager
Do these offer visa sponsorship?
Red Hat is not actively hiring. We just had our company all hands 1-2 weeks ago and our CEO said there’s a freeze for all of 2023. He even said he’s not ruling out the possibility of layoffs if necessary in the future but for now there won’t be any
Did you mean to say he didn't rule Out layoffs?
woops yeah typo. corrected
