What are a few companies that you know offer cool and unique non monetary perks? For example, one of my previous employers had an extra day off every month and they called it "Take care of yourself day" and they were attached to every long weekend or a weekend (if there are none in a month) Another great one in my opinion is the company shutdown for the last ten days of the year for most employees. Please name the companies that offer these in tech or Fintech TC: $150K
LinkedIn offers these. -One Friday every month is InDay which is similar to a day off for most of the folks. -2 weeks of company shutdown - 1 in July and 1 in Dec. -mobile and internet bills paid for each month -a budget of 2k per year for fitness and wellbeing expenses -100 bucks per year to buy any computer accessories. Ie: charger, printer, cables, batteries etc - the usual 401k, espp etc
love the username
Love that! LinkedIn is awesome then!
Benefits/Perks at Spot: - Fully sponsored round trip to Sweden to see the headquarters for a week. I took my gf as it's in a decent 4/5 star hotel, and no one cares as long its one other person - 23 PTO - Mental Wellness week: given off to all org(We have this next week off, completely, whole org) - 15 $ food amount/worked day for remote employees ~ accounts to 330 per month if someone works 22 days - NYC work space is brilliant (71 st floor views from lower Manhattan) if anyone wants to change from remote to office setup(we can) - Free work phone with a sim (Flagship options) - Gym and internet reimbursement of 120 per month - I heard great benefits for families. 6 months paid or half paid(unsure about this) parental leave - Typical 401 K of upto 6% match (50%) - Great health coverage. I pay around 30$ pm to get a lot as part of my plan Great WLB across most teams. I put in about 25-30 hour weeks. Pay isn't great, tho. I feel these perks make up for the lack of tier-1/2 pay. Also, my role is 100% remote, and the leadership isn't forcing inperson(at least for now). The inoffice perks are typical from what I heard: Free food, snacks, Barista, Napping rooms, fitness center, gaming..
Thats Amazing. You mention pay. How much should I expect if I have 13+ years of SDE experience? Also how is the job security at the moment?
Staff gets about 280K as a median. I would say you can aim for 320-350 as 350 is the upper limit. It's Prolly way less than what you are making right now, but there's definitely improvements elsewhere ( imo)
@op- why don’t you name that ‘one of your previous employers’ first? Lead by example bro.
It's Chime
Thank you. Would you say overall it has good wlb and job security?
