We keep talking about TCs and nothing about company benefits. Though TC is the most high priority aspect one should look at, i feel it’s good to know also company benefits. Just creating this post to have all company’s’ benefits written at one place. Now at the same time, let’s add drawbacks of working at that company as well to get a holistic picture! Let me start with whatever little I know about intel benefits. (More knowledgeable folks are free to correct/add more info about intel) Benefits: Free intel gym (w/ free classes viz., zumba, dance, etc) 15% discount ESPP Best in class immigration policies and support 10+ coffee and 20+ soft drinks choices Time off: vacation- 3 weeks/yr; 4 weeks/yr after 10yrs Sabbatical- 4 weeks/4yrs OR 8weeks/7yrs Bonding leave- 8 weeks Drawbacks: Pathetic TC Less/No growth up the ladder 🥜 increase in TC even during promotions Too much politics/bureaucracy Stagnant Stock growth #Benefits #tech #money #wlb #life #drawbacks #SWE #tech #HW
Benefits.Adobe.com Goes into all the detail. There are very few companies that have better benefits, the only ones that do off the top of my head or Microsoft, Facebook, and Google.
HR is working overtime.
Best is probably the waiver of the subscription fee to sell products on Amazon ($480 annual cost)
I thought intel vacation is unlimited?

Lol. Pretty sure most companies have at least those benefits. We definitely do
Point here is to know of more/unique ones that most of the others in tech don’t offer. For example, the apple products discounts that apple employees get. But they don’t get the vacation like intel folks.
Oue ESPP caps at 25% instead of 15%, I think that's pretty unique lol
