Hi, I am a Software engineer III. My base is $148k and have options vesting at 15k/year. I have received a grant of ~5000 rsus as well since I have been here from 2015. I am also on H1B and the company is filing an I-140. I would really appreciate some feedback around if this is at par with industry standards. I am more than happy to share more details if required for that assessment. I have a sense I am being underpaid because I am on H1B but my fear is that the delta is huge.

I actually don't think it is that low tbh. Very dependent on skillset, work history etc. Levels not cut & dry although assuredly people want to be paid more!
That's low. I had a square offer last feb. 160k base 25000 rsu and 30k sign on bonus. I had 3.5 yr exp then

What is the right base to ask for?
7 years at FB would be 175 at least (E5). I'm at 160+ with 2 yrs exp so you should get at least that...
