I am about to interview and I want to get a sense of what senior managers at Wells Fargo in strategy role make. Just looking for a range. Also how does a senior manager title level translate to other banks. I work at JP Morgan chase as an executive director and I have no clue how a WF senior manager compares? Is it equivalent or lower? I have been high performer consistently, getting two to three strong and have been in Chase for 15 years. I am only at total comp of $215k (with salary of $170k) in an expensive new York City living standards. A lot of my peers are being asked to go over for nearly 35- 50% more.
Senior manager @Wells is Senior than ED at JP, Morgan Stanley
Agree. Senior Managers are, at the very least, junior MDs in most instances.
Ok thank you all for answering. I was told by many colleagues since I stayed for 15 years in jpmchase and never moved to another company, my ED compensation is really below market. I only received a 4%, total compensation bump when I was promoted to ED
Never stay at a company longer than 3 yrs. you wld have dropped below market rates by then.
Salary around 220 with tc of 300+
What’s job title? 215 seems really low for exec director
There is no job title concept in JP only age old corporate titles
