Competing offers timeline
Google takes a long time to give the offer. How did you guys who had competing offers line your interviews? Not many companies will be willing to wait for more than 2 weeks. So even if you schedule 2 weeks after Google interview you might not enough time. How did you plan your interview timeline?

letting the google recruiter know that you have a competing offer should help speed up the process

Google first and Facebook 3 weeks later. Can do others in between.
I think companies will wait if you want more time. The important thing is you have to be patient and not get anxious about losing an existing offer.
