I’m done with my job search and have a couple offers in hand. Confluent is the last company I’m waiting to hear back.
@manduckpig can you share what type of questions were asked in the sys design and the concurrent coding rounds, Have not heard about concurrent coding round in other companies
Sysd rounds are similar to FAANG interviews. To prepare for concurrent rounds, I practiced concurrency tagged questions in leetcode to brush my basic skills.
@manduckpig Did you hear back yet ? I gave mine on 19th , yet to hear back anything from them...
Got mine on ~Dec 15. Haven't heard anything back. Not even the yes/no/partial feedback.
Did you get the offer?
I was told one of the sys design question and the recruiter asked me to prepare a doc , send it previous day and explain it during the interview. Something like design MySQL, kafka, etc.. Anybody had similar experience?

No leetcode. They have their own set of questions. 2 sysd, 1 coding, 1 concurrent coding, 1 hm.
Coding was not LC? I had LC for my phone screen. Have onsite coming up soon.
