Confluent Interview
Hi Everyone, I interviewed with Confluent (India) for SDE (L2) role. HR informed me that feedbacks were very positive after every round. But while the team match was happening, the HR informed that the position was filled as they hired internally. So he told me they will keep my interview feedback for 6 months and get back to me if the role opens up. Wanted to know if the recruiter really reaches out in this situation and also the current hiring scenario at Confluent.#engineering #software #swe

Don't count on them. Hiring managers change, recruiters change. Though 6 months is a small time, a lot can happen in the corporate world in just 6months. There is a chance the entire team is let go or restructured and nobody remembers you.
