Congrats on upped valuation(2.5x increase?). You seem to be killing it silently. https://techcrunch.com/2017/04/12/qualtrics-waits-on-that-ipo-raises-180-million-at-a-2-5-billion-valuation-instead/ Last year, I turned down a good offer when valuation was 1B :(
Pretty good! I think many were expecting IPO talks at our all hands this morning where that was announced, but we still have some more items to get in check before hand.
Ah crap. I missed it too. Congrats to those that believed!
You can still join as the upside continues to grow!
Who is your biggest customer? Any S&p 500 or only small and medium companies?
Is qualtrics still issuing stock options or have they moved to RSUs? Are they able to match Uber/Airbnb level comp?
RSUs... not sure how we stack against those two but (personally) wouldn't work for either regardless of pay. We seem pretty on target with main players in Seattle.
out of curiosity, what would 1000 RSUs be worth now? when I had offer 2 years ago they said $5/share
Now $6/share... dilution is rough
Congrats? How long are employees going to have to wait for IPO? 10 years? Btw, if you leave before an "event" your options evaporate. Event is defined as IPO or acquisition.
I'm not just waiting for an IPO, I'm making good money on salary and bonuses, and getting leadership experience I wouldn't get elsewhere (I've looked) because this place is small and growing. I'd rather make a difference and grow like crazy than make a chunk of money at one of the big players. (I know those aren't mutually exclusive, but I have opportunities here I haven't had elsewhere.)

I missed 2.5x opportunity though 🙄 How is the mood internally? How is life for engineers in Seattle office? Congrats again!
Pretty amazing internal mood, at least in my dept. Colleagues are genuine and inspiring. It's certainly not without it's pain but overall very positive.
