So I have always been a vegetarian as my parents (Indian) never fed me meat for religious reasons. I started eating eggs ~15 years back and it is part of my diet since then. I am now considering eating fish but not sure where to start. The reason being my wife used to eat fish and she stopped eating after marriage because of me. I want to return the favor. Question: What fish should I start with so I don't feel disgusted with the taste/smell? Any suggestions welcome. Thank you! Tc: $200k YOE: 10
I would Go with some flavor less white fish, as a stew. This wont be noticed. G luck.
Atlantic Salmon is your friend
I literally did this a few weeks ago. Although I had eaten white meat before and thought fish would be better. I chose salmon. I liked it more than chicken. Pretty expensive tho at restaurants tho
Chilean Sea Bass (Costco sells it frozen) will be light and buttery with a mild/delicate flavor. No strong fish smell/taste. Make sure, whatever you get, that it is wild caught fish and not farmed.
Halibut , sea bass would a good fish to start
Shrimp
You can't afford salmon with that TC. Better stay as vegetarian.
Well, my TC might be a quarter of your TC but we both breathe the same air and share the same sky so stop swinging your "higher TC" shit here.
Dude !! OP is asking a suggestion and you bring TC into that , help if you can else GTFO
I love salmon, but it’s pretty strongly flavored, so might not be a good first fish. Agree that a white fish of some kind might be a good entry point. Cod, haddock, and mahi might work.
Cod, mahi mahi
