Can we categorize organizations according to cool off period? 1 yr 6 months 3 months No cool off period Data I have: Google 1 yr Facebook 1 yr Uber 6 months Salesforce 0 Adobe 0 Plz comment. This information will help me and others put a strategy around the interview process
Is Amazon always a year ? I think it can be lesser
What is the logic behind 1 year cool offs? It is a very long period. It just might be your unlucky day, and your next try will be in a year??!
What is the law exactly?
Can you point to a law that restricts it? I have never heard about it. If it was a law, then no company will put itself into a potential legal issue by reducing it to 6 months.
Some companies it depends if it’s a phone screen fail vs onsite fail — the period varies
Interesting point - can you elaborate how the stage where you fail affect the cool off period?
I failed my first google phone screen. The recruiter contacted me again in exactly 3 months.
